Home built 6AG7-6L6 = 30 watts had two xtals for 80 m Novice Band
Antenna - Off Center Fed.  Rcvr:  Howard - all band.
    As a Novice only 80 cw (3700-3750) and a 2 meter  segment was 
allocated.  1 year license with no renewal.
    My late father (W4AGI, W4YE, K6CN, W5KL)  inspired me to become a ham.  
In April 1952 we both went to Los  Angeles FCC office for exams ...he took 
the new Extra, I took the Novice.
    We left CA in August  '52 and moved to  VA.  Dad received W4YE again 
and early Jan. 1953 I became W4YZC.
