Happy Father's Day to all the men on this list who've earned that badge the old-fashioned way; with sweat and overtime, stress and heartache, worry and celebration. To those lucky enough to have wives, or other support systems to make our jobs easier; and those who did it alone or from a distance, and never or rarely got the credit they deserve.

I salute you all.

It's the hardest job we ever loved so much, and never stop doing if you executed it properly.

May the effort and love you've invested be returned to you by your kids and grandchildren in some measure. If you are fortunate enough to be with any of them today, take lots of pictures. Not for you, but for their future offspring to see why, where, and who they are.
