Concerning the recent BOD action re: Scholarship Awards.  When one steps 
out of the fire, the danger of getting burned becomes much less imminent 
than when you're part of the deciding process.  But getting burned is 
still possible, and the hurt is much greater when you have nothing to do 
with decisions one believes to be BAD DECISIONS that come back to burn you.

The Board of Directors has taken BAD DECISIONS regarding our Scholarship 
funds, and we all stand a substantial risk of being burned by those 
decisions.

And, dear ladies and gentlemen, I do know what I'm talking about. If you 
think I don't have any idea about it, ask me sometime.

As neither I, nor most of the rest of you who will be reading this were 
in any way asked about the decisions taken (on our behalf, indeed!), 
there is no 'debate' to be had at this point.

But let me say most clearly and most succinctly -- QCWA had best be 
given FULL CREDIT for these Scholarship Awards!  EVERY ONE OF THEM! I do 
NOT NOT NOT want to read in ANY outlet the words of a Scholarship 
Recipient thanking the Foundation for Amateur Radio (FAR) for the QCWA 
Scholarship funds!  Once was enough for this insult and indignity.  Vic,
