It is with great sadness that I pass on the news that Blanche Randles, W4GXZ became a SK on Monday.

She was a great lady and a fine representative of Ham Radio and QCWA!

I am sure that it will not come as a surprise to you to learn that Blanche became SK on Monday, October 14. She was 95 years old and was dealing with some health issues and senile dementia. I had a call from her daughter Diane today. Diane and her cousin had been able to take her to lunch on the Wednesday before. Fortunately, she still recognized Diane until her last day, although most of her other memories were gone.

There are no formal services planned, her ashes will be scattered on the lake in NH where her OM Wes's were scattered when he passed.

If you wish, donations in her memory can be made to either the QCWA or YLRL Scholarship Funds.
