[QCWA] QCWA Chapter 119 Meeting Oct 20, 2012

QCWA Chapter 119 October Meeting.  Chapter 119 will hold the fall 
edition of its semi-annual off-site meeting at Hampton, Virginia on 
Saturday, October 20, 2012.  This event will be an outing to the 
Virginia Air and Space Center, 600 Settlers Landing Rd., Hampton, VA.  
There is ample parking immediately adjacent to the center.

The activity will begin with a docent guided tour of the VASC Amateur 
Radio Station at 10:30 a.m. At 11:00 the group will gather at the IMAX 
Theater.  A thrilling new IMAX release, Air Race 3-D has been requested 
for showing.  At 12:00 noon we will walk across the parking lot to 
Marker 20, a favorite restaurant, for lunch.  The featured presentation 
at lunch will be by Chris Peters, N4KIT, an Alpha Tester for  Ham Radio 
Deluxe, and Chris will bring us up to date on new features of this radio 
control program.  We hope for a good turn-out for this exciting outing.  
A head-count for the outing will help Harvey, our local outing 
coordinator (KA4SSH, 757 596-7870 - harvo at cox.net) secure advance 
admission tickets to the IMAX theater.
