Gentlemen and Ladies,

My suggestion to Chapter 8 is for one or more of the members who have
computers and printers print a few copies for the members who cannot
afford or do not wish to have computers and distribute them at the
chapter meetings or mail them to members who cannot attend the
meetings due to illness or disability.

Our nation is experiencing hard times. Perhaps we should by
personally helping those in need instead of the alternative which we
have been supporting to or detriment.

Now my comment about chapter meetings:

The chapter I belong to is a "repeater" chapter. Probably only 2 or
3 of the members are even interested in HF operation. Most of them
are interested in launching and chasing balloons.

None of the things mentioned above are bad things, and in the spirit
of our hobby they meet the needs of those who enjoy them, as it
should be, but I rarely attend chapter meetings because I am not
interested in that segment of amateur radio.

This is not a complaint, it is a statement to describe why I don't
attend chapter meetings.

I too would be willing to pay a reasonable maintenance fee to help
support QCWA, but I would like to see a portion of that fee be placed
in some kind of interest bearing account.
