I did a quick information gathering exercise and found two companies that I would consider, based on the fact that they provide discounted rates for non-profit organizations and there are no recurring fees.  They charge only a transaction fee, based on the value of the transaction.

So, for a $25.00 transaction (membership renewal),  PayPal would charge $0.85.  Amazon would charge $1.025 maximum with reductions if the average revenue met certain thresholds.

Obviously, this isn't the whole story.  One should do more analysis of the costs and terms and conditions associated with the companies before proceeding.  But, I still vote for considering online payments for QCWA memberships and other items..
