[QCWA] QCWA Chapter 119 April Meeting

The QCWA Chapter 119 April meeting will be held at 12:00 noon on 
Saturday, 21 April 2012 at Artie and Toni's Steak House (aka Steve's 
Steak House), 11847 Jefferson Ave, Newport News, VA 23606 (757-595-9483).

This meeting is one of our two special meetings each year when the 
Chapter meets on Saturday in the Hampton/Newport News area to 
accommodate our many members and friends who make the trek to Virginia 
Beach each month for our regular meetings in our regular meeting place. 
As such, we expect a great turnout, and with that, the opportunity to 
renew acquaintances with folks we may not see nearly often enough and to 
share that very special QCWA fellowship.

An interesting program has been arranged by our 'The Other Side' 
coordinators, Wally, K4OGT; Dick, W4RBH; and the irrepressible Harvey, 
KA4SSH. A good time is guaranteed to anyone in attendance.

We will be prepared to sign-up new members, and to renew memberships on 
the spot. If you have a friend, then BE a friend and bring him/her to 
the meeting and we will sign them up, if they qualify.

Ron, W8RJL, our President; Vernon, W4THN, our Vice-President; Ed, W8NLZ, 
our Secretary; and Barry, K5VIP, indeed a Very Important Person AND our 
Treasurer, all will be on hand to welcome you and to insure you of a

FROM NORFOLK AREA:
1. Take I64 west across the HRBT.
2. Exit at J Clyde Morris Blvd onto Route 17 south
3. Continue south on J Clyde Morris Blvd until you get to Jefferson Avenue
4. Turn Right onto Jefferson Ave
5. Proceed approximately 1.1 miles on Jefferson Avenue, Artie and Toni’s 
(Steve’s) Steak House will be on your left. There is a stop light just 
past the restaurant where you will need to make a “U” turn and then 
immediately turn right into the parking lot.

FROM WILLIAMSBURG AREA:
1. Take I64 East
2. Exit at Jefferson Avenue onto Route 143 south
3. Proceed approximately 2 miles on Jefferson Avenue, Artie and Toni’s 
(Steve’s) Steak House will be on your right.

FROM YORKTOWN AREA
1. Take route 17 south
2. Continue south on Route 17 until you get to Jefferson Avenue
3. Turn Right onto Jefferson Ave
4. Proceed approximately 1.1 miles on Jefferson Avenue, Artie and Toni’s 
(Steve’s) Steak House will be on your left. There is a stop light just 
past the restaurant where you will need to make a “U” turn and then 
immediately turn right into the parking lot.

FROM PORTSMOUTH, CHESAPEAKE & NORTH SUFFOLK
1. Take I664 north across the M&M
2. Turn West on I64 and follow the above directions “From Norfolk”.

FROM WESTERN TIDEWATER (ISLE OF WIGHT, FRANKLIN, WESTERN SUFFOLK)
1. Cross the JRB (RT 258) and turn left at Jefferson Avenue.
2. Proceed approximately 5.2 miles on Jefferson Avenue. Artie and Toni’s 
(Steve’s) Steak House will be on your left. Make a “U” turn at the 
stoplight.

EVERYONE:

Note that while the restaurant is called Artie and Toni’s Steak House 
the part of the sign that you will notice when driving by will say 
“Steve’s Steak House”.
