Fred, WB4AEJ .. how many organizations do people have lifetime memberships in ... and ... how many today really wish they had not..!!  I know of several people, locally, that have taken lifetime gigs ... and several of them ... are really sorry, as the "charter" of originality have changed...!  Does make one have second thoughts ... but hindsight is ... always 20-20!!

Sad as it may seem, today that is a reality and one that we cannot escape from.  What we can do is make leadership fully aware of our thoughts..!  Which ... I think we have started...!

It would be nice to share with the membership ... the financial aspects of our group.  It should not be "hidden"..

Only thanks to Tony, W8RSH, have I really joined the QCWA.  I am glad he talked me into it.  Not lifetime, but continually supporting..!  And ... that was due to our joint interest in aviation..!!  Had I come across Tony years earlier, I would have most likely went for lifetime..!!!!
