Chapter 9 Dayton / Cincinnati reports:  Chuck - W8TIV - SK

Charles (Chuck) Clifton, W8TIV, became a silent key yesterday. Almost 93
years old he suffered a stroke a few weeks ago and was on the way to
recovery when his situation worsened.

He was an active ham until very recently. He had almost daily QSOs (in CW)
with good friend Art, W8DTL, in Tipp city. For years he was net control for
the local Sunday QCWA net and later always ready to jump in if he was
needed.

Visiting will be Friday,1 July,5-7 PM at the Newcomer Funeral Home on 3380 Dayton
Xenia Road in Beavercreek. A mass will be 12 noon on Saturday at the
Ascension Catholic Church on 2025 Woodman Drive.
