[QCWA] US Coast Guard Birthday Special Event Station

The Coast Guard CW Operators Association  (  www.comm-one.org  ) will hold a special event station Saturday, August 6, 2011, from

10 am Eastern (1400Z) to 9 pm Pacific (0400Z) using special event call sign K1CG.   Frequencies will be 3552, 7052, 14052, 21052 +- QRM.

Stations using the call will be in North Carolina, Ohio, Mississippi, Alabama, Kansas, Oklahoma and Washington State.  Station locations

will stand a two-hour watch, starting on the East Coast and moving Westerly as does the sun.  Special Event QSL Cards K1CG will be issued.

CG CW Ops Assn has a CW Net on Thursdays starting at Noon Eastern on 14052.  NCS is K7ZUT from Port Angeles, WA.  Non-members are

welcome to QNI.
