as WW2. He was transferred to Wright Patterson AB to draw up conceptual 
pictures of future aircraft. And who has not seen Mr. Clean or Smoky the 
Bear, two of his creations! Richard and his late wife made his home in 
Kettering, where he still resides and works.*
