[QCWA] QCWA Chapter 119 April Meeting -- FRIDAY April 15

QCWA Chapter 119 will hold their April meeting on Friday, April 15, 2011 
at the usual meeting place, Frankie's Place for Ribs, 5200 Fairfield 
Shopping Center, Virginia Beach, VA 23464 at 12:00 Noon.  Anyone 
visiting the area, or anyone free at this time is invited to attend our 
meeting and enjoy the special program scheduled.  Members and Friends of 
QCWA Chapter 119 are all welcome, as are spouses, who usually brighten 
up the proceedings significantly.

The program for this meeting is presented by Don Johnson, N4DJ, a member 
who is an avid DXer and Contest operator.  Don, together with Jim, 
W4PRO, and Terry, W4GSM, now a SK, all of whom lived near each other in 
Hampton, VA several years ago, were the first to mount a successful 
DXpedition to French Saint Martin, FS.  French Saint Martin at the time 
was under the control of an administration that was not at all friendly 
to Amateur Radio, after some unfortunate experiences with some of their 
local 'hams' who caused them much difficulty.  Don, Jim, and Terry 
convinced these authorities to permit this operation, and one of the 
more memorable DXpeditions soon followed.  Both Don and Jim will be 
present, and an A-V presentation will enliven the meeting.  This is a
