Greetings all,

As you know, I write the QCWA column in WorldRadio online magazine. In it, I
strive to include positive information and aspects associated with QCWA, such as
will attract prospective members to our fine organization, as well as be
informative to our members.

In the future, I would like to do a column on QCWA and its involvement with
youth-oriented projects, such as youth mentoring and education.

To that end, I would like to ask those chapters who have experience in this to
relate them for our benefit. For example, among other activities, Chapter 151
in Alberta has gone to various schools and contacted the International Space
Station from them, allowing the students to communicate with the astronauts on
board. Others perhaps have participated in the youth mentoring program,
sponsored jointly by ARNewsline and QCWA. Still others may be involved in youth
education programs encouraged by the ARRL and RAC.

What are your experiences with youth? Please share them with us.

If you have pictures associated with your activities WRT youth, please send them
directly to me, as the reflector does not allow attachments.

I thank you profusely for your assistance in this.

Yours in supporting QCWA,

Dave Hayes VE3JX.
