Ocala Chapter 62 meeting on Thursday, March 25 at 1:00 PM

Change of time and location

On Thursday, March 25, we will meet at 1:00 PM for lunch at
the Uptown Grill, 2436 East Silver Springs Blvd. in Ocala, FL.
This facility has a very nice meeting room that should be
about the right size for us, and a good place for a power
point presentation. It should be much quieter than Golden
Corral! They have lunch specials in the $7 range.

The Uptown Grill is on the south side of Silver Springs Blvd,
just west of 25th Ave, and the government complex.  CVS is
across the street (on the north side).  There is not too much
parking in front of the restaurant, but there is plenty in
back, with an additional entrance from the back.  The meeting
room is on the right, if you enter from the front.

We will have a very special program.  Several QCWA members are
coming up from Sarasota to present our program.  Croft Taylor,
VE3CT, past president of QCWA will attending, along with Hans
Napfel, WB2ZZB.  Many of you will remember Hans from the program
on the airplane "Black Box" emergency package that he helped
develop.  They will be bringing Len, K4IWL, with them who will
present a program on "The Shack in Back".  You can use your 
imagination as to what that might encompass, but he says that
it is very suitable for QCWA, including XYLs.  That means you
are encouraged to bring you XYL to the meeting.  I would like
to have a great turnout for these guys who are making the effort
to come all the way from Sarasota.

Please make every effort to attend at 1:00 PM on Thursday,
March 25.  I told the restaurant that we might have 40 people
there.  Let's make that happen!
