  OK, I admit it,

And actually I honestly do not remember if I am a member or not? (Gives
clue here as to age qualification to being a member) But I know I
qualify that's for sure been Licensed since 1975. But if I AM a member
I have done nothing with the membership, or at the same time membership
has done nothing for me that I know of.

I know that fits into the comment that someone made a while ago, that
said, what's in it for me? What do I get out of it for being a member?

This does indeed sound self centered, but with sooo much now days
competing for a persons any free time, what benefit does someone get for
being a member? Honestly!

Just like a club meeting,, the clubs that have presentations each month
that make the meeting interesting have LOTS of members in their
meetings, because the attender gets something out of taking their time
to go to the meeting. Whereas, the meetings where they rehash what was
discussed at the last meeting, then vote to accept the minutes from the
last meeting, after that is done they discuss new stuff, what stuff?
whats in the treasury,, when is the next meeting etc. BORING CRAP!
But if you attend these meetings often you'll notice the only people
that are there constantly are the board of directors (because they have
to) and a maybe single handful of others. But that's it.

And this group actually needs to offer something to the person also.

So What does being a member of this group offer someone to want to be a
member?
