My suggestions are as follows:

QCWA eligibility begins at one's 25th licensing anniversary. Logically, the age
of potential new recruits could be as young as late 30s.

I think our publications put too much emphasis on honoring members way up in the
age range via longevity awards. I have a friend, age 47, who wanted to join
QCWA (and he is very respectful and helpful to elderly hams) but he was put off
by reading the Journal, where he saw mostly people 30-50 years older than
himself. We need to be more inclusive of "middle age" hams. And members in
this age category are more likely to pony up for life membership. A Life
Member, by definition, will not be a drop out!!

Make all of our meetings open meetings, regardless of whether one is a member,
or qualifies to be a member.

At chapter meetings, have at least some speakers covering contemporary amateur
radio matters, and publicize the meeting/speaker to the amateur radio community
at large.
