[QCWA] New 2010 Roster Statistics

Hi Bob,

Absolutely true. Senior organizations are having a tough time of it.

Many seniors have very little discretionary income, so they have to pick &
choose carefully. Cost is a big factor. The ARRL for Americans, and RAC for
Canadians, are the representative organizations in our countries, and, as such,
should be supported by all those who value our privileges. They are, in my
view, "must-joins".

QCWA falls into the "optional" category, as do many other ham associations.
People join QCWA if they so "desire". Therefore, we (QCWA) have to provide the
"desirability" factor to encourage their membership, while maintaining our
raison d'etre. How do we do that? That's the $64K question, isn't it?

Thanks Bob.

Cheers,

Dave Hayes VE3JX
