I have a sub-question (or four) of my own.  Given that the other thread 
mentioned the size of an electronic version of a 60-page Journal, HOW MUCH 
of the current journal might be read by DX members?  Are they really 
interested in several pages of FCC regulations (which somebody has already 
mentioned) or USA/Canada Chapter news?  Do we need to include all of the 
advertising?

If QCWA wants to add a digital version of the Journal for DX members, why 
not hit up the advertisers for revenue?  It would be essentially a new 
publication with a different target audience.

Market research is the next logical step.  QCWA must undertake a (cost-free) 
survey of DX members to see what the built-in demand is for a digital 
Journal (or Digest).  If it is sufficient, then let's sell advertising in it 
and put out as big a file as the market will bear.
