Well, Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro is list price $449.00
PDF Maker seems to be a sub set of that, as it is not listed individually.
On the other hand, for OCR software, there is ABBYY FineReader 9
http://www.scanstore.com/Scanning_Software/OCR/default.asp?ITEM_ID=18288
For $389 which includes "Scan to PDF document"
And of course, there's the learning curve with any new software product,
And having a staff member capable of using it.
Which brings up a thorught, how exactly is the Journal created to begin
with?
Do we supply a pasted up paper copy to a printer, or do we supply a digital
format, whether .pdf or Word or some other publishing software package?
