[QCWA] Dallas Chapter 41 QCWA Meeting Notice

Your attendance is hereby requested on Saturday, March 7, 2009, at the regular Dallas Chapter 41 Meeting of the QCWA, to be held as usual at the Midway Point Restaurant located 1/2 block south of LBJ Freeway (I-635) on Midway Road in North Dallas, TX.
 
I suggest that you arrive no later than 11:30 AM so that you can get the chow-down activity out of the way as we have a very unusual program for you:
 
Chapter 41 Members, Don Shelton, K5OK, FEMA communications Guru, and Val Erwin, W5PUT, QCWA Natl' Director,  will be working DX from the meeting room!.........Did he say "DX"?..........Yes, a live demonstration/introduction to EchoLink and QSONet will be made and we will be communicating around the World. If time allows, other digi-modes will be visited as well. (I suggest you bring a piece of paper and a pen as you may want to take notes.)
 
I am informed that Steve Brodie, K5ZYZ, our Chapter 41 President will be on hand to maintain order and take names during this special event.
