[QCWA] BIG Convention THANK YOU

TNX AGN to you and the 119 posse for throwing a great bash!  The attendees had a great time. I would especially like to thank Chapter 119 for doing such a great job on the tours.........the Sunday tour being the "creme de la' creme".......Jamestown and Williamsburg!! The tour guide, Pat Joyce, was a pure comical delight!
 
Sadly, many of our Members never attend a Natl' Convention and do not have any idea of what they are missing!
 
As I departed the motel on Monday morn, I couldn't help but notice the Carolina Windom was still up.........hope you remembered to take it down.....
 
We arrived back in Dallas late today after intermediate stops at Knoxville and Memphis, TN. After all, I had to take care of two "itches" in Memphis: Some Memphis Blues music and the mandatory Memphis-style ribs.............heh heh

Thank you QCWA members, one and all, for your support of the 2008 QCWA 
International Convention.  And to those members who actually made it to 
Virginia Beach in spite of all the reasons why one might not have made 
the trip:  An EXTRA big helping of THANKS.  We in Chapter 119 were very 
proud to host this event and we hope you had every bit as much fun here 
as we had being your host Chapter.

As soon as the dust settles here we will have a new convention web page 
up with lots of pictures and information about the convention and all 
that happened.  You will find us at the same location as you have found

address.  The official convention photographer has started uploading his 
pictures to the web and they can be found at the following web address:

Please note that this is different than the address listed in the 
convention program -- Ed had some difficulty with Shutterfly getting the 
site set up.  But all should be well now, and I have verified the 
address and operation and saw the initial batch of pictures he uploaded, 
all 46 of them.  He promises more to come.

Once again, from the 2008 Convention Planning Group, from all the
