Hi Everyone,
The two most common problems I find when someone can't post to the QCWA
Reflector are:
1. Trying to post with an email id that isn't subscribed.
Let me explain. My real email is broske at hutchtel.net, I also receive email
via n0uf at arrl.net. If I subscribe with n0uf at arrl.net I can receive messages
posted to the reflector but I usually can not send to the reflector. I say
usually because it is possible to set up you mail client, the software on
your PC that handles email, to send a message so it looks like it's coming
from arrl.net or amsat.net or rac.ca. Because of spam and viruses, many
Internet Service Providers(ISPs) don't allow incoming email from other than
the originating ISP. arrl.net is not hutchtel.net where the message started
from.
2. Posting a message that contains HTML, special formatting, BOLD,
Underlined, or attachments.
If you need more clarification, please ask.
