The founders of QCWA had an agenda and that was to recogn ize the service of
radio amateurs licensed for 25 years or more.
I must be included in your "stick in the muds" as my reasons for being a
QCWA member have not changed.
One significant thing that could be done is to ensure that we put people on
the board with practical experience in different aspects of amateur radio.
Mere possession of a license for 25 years really means nothing if the total
experience of the licensee has been on a 2M repeater. He/she could hardly
serve as a role model for the association.
Steve...you are free to submit your feelings about the 25 year requirement.
There might even be another association that would be more appropriate for
your philosophy.
