[QCWA] 2008 International Convention Activity

Here's a fun activity that we on the planning committee would like to 
get incorporated into the 2008 convention festivities:

Each QCWA member attending the convention might select a baby/youth 
picture of him/herself from among those treasured photos hiding in your 
closet and bring it to the convention for display.  We will keep a 
separate list of NAMES and we will run a 'CONTEST' (even as there are 
those among you who don't like contests!) to see who can match the 
greater number of names with numbered photos.

SOUNDS LIKE GREAT FUN!

But it can happen only if you bring a picture for display.  Officers and 
BOD appointees are included in this activity.  I personally can't wait 
to see what our General Manager comes up with!!

You can greatly facilitate this activity by letting us know if you will 
participate -- or, better still, send your photo (with caption) to me 
well in advance of the convention.

We will take great care of your treasured pictures and will do our level 
best to insure that you get your picture back safely.  But I don't think 
we can offer any GUARANTEES on that score.  If your picture is precious 
beyond saying, please make a copy for display and retain your original.

Questions, comments or suggestions are, as always, welcome.

REMINDER -- The convention registration period is still open.  We are 
still earnestly seeking additions to the Saturday and Sunday tours. 
We're close to meeting the required reservations for these great tours 
-- don't miss out on a lot of fun by forgetting to register for them. 
If you have already registered for the convention (BLESS YOU if you 
have!) it is possible to UPDATE your registration to include any of the 
festivities offered by indicating your wishes to Mr. Barry Priddy,
