[QCWA] HamExpo Hamfest - Belton, TX

Hi QCWA Group!
 
For those that either live in Texas or might happen to
find yourself in  central Texas, I encourage your
attendance at HamExpo in Belton, TX  THIS
Friday/Saturday, April 18/19. Where else can you
attend a large  hamfest for a mere
$2?...........That's right, a mere $2! For those
seeking  lodging, hotels/motels are numerous in both
Temple and Belton and can  be located on the Web.
 
Although officially, the event does not start until
Saturday, April 19, there are a lot of activities that
take place on the 18th, the  afternoon & evening
before,  such as: early trading, BBQ, pickin' n'
grinnin', etc. Yes, if you are musically inclined,
bring your fiddle, guitar, banjo, voice, etc.
(Contrary to rumor, American Idol will not be there!)
 
While attending HamExpo, please stop by and say
"Howdee!" as I will  have a QCWA table at the event. I
would enjoy meeting you.
 
How do I find Belton, TX?...........Belton is located
immediately south and adjacent to Temple, TX.  Temple,
TX is located approximately  midway between Waco and
Austin, TX on Interstate 35. More details are
