I received a phone call this morning from Ben Letson, W4BK, advising me that 
he would not be attending the Chapter 128, Pelican, meeting this Wednesday. 
(I had the pleasure of presenting Ben his 75 year award last year).   Ben 
said that he would be going to visit an old friend, W4AUP, in Mississippi, 
who will be celebrating his 100th birthday.  The two of them have maintained 
a radio sked since 1935, and currently meet on the air three nights a week. 
Congratulations to W4AUP on his 100th birthday, and to W4BK for making the 
trip.
