And as a such, thanks to Colonel Tibbets. Because without him, there 
wouldn't have been that enormous pile of war surplus radios and other 
such items that brought about Fair Radio Sales, Radio Shack, Gonset 
communications etc.

Not to make light of the situation, but it is true, because prior to the 
sudden surrender, the planners were figuring on another 8 years of warfare.
