Hi, guys.  Happy Memorial Day weekend!  
 
Never in a million years did we think we'd be spending it in Florida, but 
here we are.  Walt is still in Re-hab, fighting C.diff, on his second round of 
treatment with Flagyl to kill it, since the first one didn't work.  And 
suffering agonizing pain in his left foot from the fall he took in his room a month 
ago.  
 
The therapy wasn't working, so I called our podiatrist-surgeon in MI for 
advice one evening a week ago and he told me to get him to one here immediately.  
Thus we had him transported to ours here this week, where more x-rays showed 
nothing broken, so cortisone shots were injected.  If that improves the 
situation, then another series will be done this week.  If not, then an MRI in next.  
However, Walt thinks it is improving, so the cause may be soft tissue 
damage.  We will see.  His back and hips are responding well to therapy, however, and 
he seems to be in no pain there, with his legs are getting stronger every 
day, so his neurosurgeon at Mayo should be happy!  His therapist says he has much 
therapy to do in our pool here at home before we go to MI however, so I think 
we're looking at July for travel.  We may still see you at QCWA.,  Walt would 
love nothing better than to show up.  He's so anxious to get out of that bed!
