[QCWA] Fastest CW Opr Ever???

If I remember correctly an American held the fastest code speed record.
Cant remember his name but believe his top speed was in the 70's
approximately.    I often wished I could have reached that speed but
my top during and after WW2 was about 45 wpm.   Anyone on QCWA
remember who the guy was???
