Ref CCC oprs etc. I was one of them in 1939 at Starke, Fla.
We had 3 ro's but the ccc camp was one of those dedicated to
WW1 vets. I dont recall any QSL'ing being done since we only
communicated with Military Stations such as in SC and GA.
WE were'nt even allowed to use ham band freqccys. We had out own
dedicated CCC freqs. In fact I transitioned from the CCC
camp direct to Ft Benning, GA WAR dept radio stn WUO when they
sent me a msg asking if I'd like to enlist and not have to go
to boot camp (basic trng) etc. I qickly accepted that.
