[QCWA] Gutter clip brings back memories!

We used to have a mobile radio pair of channels in the 50 mhz region in 
Southern California (San Diego County) and I installed a hundred or more 
of these Gutter clips.  Sometime after I was hired and started working 
in the mobile shop we started getting Antenna Specialist, base loaded 
antenna's and we no longer needed the gutter clips.  I have not seem one 
for years now.

I too have seen these clips at truck stops here in Ontario.  Used to own
one myself when I had a 10 metre rig in the car circa 1950!
