Texas/Oklahoma Alert:

For those of you that might live or be traveling in the vicinity of northern 
Texas or southern Oklahoma  this Saturday, October 21, Dallas Chapter 41 would 
like to invite you to attend a  fun hamfest:

Hamarama Family Funfest
Texoma Lodge on Lake Texoma (Northern, Oklahoma side of lake)
Kingston, Oklahoma

Don't know how to get there? Texoma Lodge is located on US 70 between I-35 at 
Marietta, OK  and US 70 at Durant, OK.  The town of Kingston is located just 
to the west of  Texoma Lodge. If you get lost, Talk-in is on 147.390+ / 118.8 
PL or 7.295 Mhz HF

There is an outside flea market as well as an inside dealer area. The 
swappin' action starts early (Think flashlight here!) outside with the inside dealer 
area opening at 8 AM.

As all hamfests you can expect an abundance of good deals, war stories and 
perhaps even a few  insults thrown in for good measure.

While there, don't forget to come inside to the dealer area. Dallas Chapter 
41 will have a table. Please use this as an opportunity to either join QCWA, 
brings dues up to date or join  Dallas Chapter, Chapter 41. This will also be a 
great  opportunity to meet Steve Brodie, K5ZYZ,President of Chapter 41 as well 
as Val Erwin, W5PUT, QCWA National Director at the QCWA table.
