Joe.......remember that typing ability was just as important as copying 
CW.......operators had to use typing skills on the Kleinschmidt perforators 
to punch out wheatstone tapes for the Boehme keying heads.
They also had to be able to transcribe the recorded slip tapes to a mill.
Almost every operator at WAR could type 100 wpm or more.
That is a common speed even among office typists....
