Hi Joe,
It was the funniest thing what happened to me. There I was in the Signal
Corp. I went Camp Crowder in Missouri for basic training.. Boy oh boy,
What luck next thing I knew I was in Fort Monmouth for radio traing. Here
I was not far from home passes to see my wife every week. Then the
unexpected. I had touble with an ankle since my High School days. Some
jerk of a looie said double time and I was on the ground. Spent about a
monyh in the hospital. Hey I got a furlough out of it too. When I got
back to Camp I found myself in a new company and classified for fixed
station. Only one problem, I didn't  know how to touch type. Oe day they
said you have to take a test sending 25wpm. I sais they were crazy as I
did not know the sound of 25 as yet. Joe I'm going to continue my story
in an another e-mail tomorrow as it gets funnier.
