Hi Bob et al,

It's great to know that the Colts Neck meetings are still in progress, though
only once a year now. When I was there in the '60s and '70's most of the guys
were 3999rs, but I haven't heard anyone on 99 for years. What's happened? Are
the newer guys afraid to operate that close to the band edge? Or is it the
digitial QRM from the African BC station on 3.95 MHz? Hope we can get those
types of QRM deleted from the 80 and 40 m bands someday.

Congrats to you also, Bob, on your work with the QCWA. Good to know you're
there.

PS--Forgot to mention earlier that when I was a member of the Delaware Chapter 5
I knew Ralph Hasslinger. It was great to have been at the right place at the
right time to know some of our charter members.
