Hi Everyone,
One word of warning if you're going to try to download Adobe Acrobat
version 7: When you download ver. 7, you'll also receive another
program Photo Album Viewer (or something like that). This program can
be a real nuisance if you do any serious photo editing. (And truth be
told, other than ham radio, digital photography is my main hobby right
now.)
This program is not to be confused with other Adobe products such as
PhotoShop Elements or PhotoShop.
Among other undesirable features, it tries to take over the opening of
all .jpg and I suspect other graphic files. I'm still working to get my
computer straightened out after having received this program at the same
time as I downloaded ver. 7.
I know, I probably could have been more careful during the
download/install process and after the download was complete, only
allowed the install of Acrobat Reader, but I went and simply trusted
Adobe and let them install both programs. BIG MISTAKE!
So, my advice, use the latest version of Acrobat Reader (ver. 7 if
you're using the XP operating system.), but be careful about other stuff
Adobe tries to give you.
73's,
Paul WD8H

Hi Harvey,
You, and everyone else should be using Adobe V5 or newer. The current
version available is 7
Go to http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep2.html
Select 'Choose a different version' (two lines above the Adobe Icon on
left)
Enter your system information
Select Continue
Select V 6 or V5 (I suggest V6)
Select download
Good Luck!
73 de N0UF op Bob ..
