[QCWA] Gene Nailon K5DLE Update

Ham friends of Gene,
When I talked with Gene's daughter this morning she had hope that he 
would be moved from the CCU to a regular hospital room.  He seems to 
be improved and he even talks about going to a ham fest.  I hope he 
will take it easy and try to get himself in better health.  I checked 
with the hospital at 7:00pm and he is still in CCU so maybe he will be 
moved tomorrow.  I wanted to give you the latest information.
DeLana thinks her dad will be going home soon.  She plans on going up 
to his place and staying with him for a few days.  She has two 
children in school and it will be difficult running back and forth 
from her home and getting children off to school and taking care of 
Gene.  Those of you whom do not know DeLana, she is a sweet young 
lady.  We even laugh together that her dad may be a little difficult 
during his recovery time.  It is frustrating when you can not do what 
you want and it certainly was trying for Gene for almost a week not 
able to talk. 
I feel that Gene is doing so well that we will not need to continue 
this report in e-mail.  Unless something happens this is my last.  
Thanks to all that showed concern for Gene, the business and his 
family.  If you have a question I will gladly respond to individual 
questions.
