[QCWA] Corespondance to the Board and Canidates

Harvey,

I had a Principal who insisted that "change was good". I had to agree with
the premise that change is necessary, but not usually good. My training and
experience, especially studying evolution, has taught me that most change is
either neutral or negative and only rarely positive.

The Hawthorne or Westinghouse Effect showed that change in and of itself can
have a positive effect, if only temporarily.

The fact that our membership and ham radio in general are aging, supports
the argument that was suggested in the quote.

I would be interested to see what the suggested changes are.

Most long established processes and institutions can persist for long
periods of time, because they have selected and evolved their optimal
behaviors, but if they do not adapt to challenges, they eventually fail.
