Yes, not everyone could master the sideswipe, but some who couldn't just kept right on using one and it was real rough copying them. I was an extra hire op for the US Army Corps of Engineers during the 1937 Ohio-Mississippi river flood and one op was using a S/W to send river gauge readings -- what a mish-mash! Harvey/W4TG
