Chapter 91 Election of Officers for 2006

Lew Bradley, Chairman of the Nominating Committee, will nominate the  
following who have consented to serve, if elected, during 2006:

Vice Pres. & Program Chair................Len Hook, KG6ZR
Treasurer................................................Nelson

Secretary................................................John Reiser,  
WQ4L

Dick Rucker, KM4ML, who has been our Secretary for 10 years, is  
stepping down.  Dick has offered to continue to manage the chapter's  
website, write articles for the QCWA journal, and do other public  
relations tasks at the pleasure of the Executive Committee.

Lew will also ask for other nominations from the floor before calling  
a second to the list of the candidates offered and calling for the  
vote.  Nominees from the floor are encouraged!


Tom Azlin, N4ZPT. "Packet, the Marine Corps Marathon, and  
Beyond" (Note 1)

   Tom is a member of our chapter and is currently serving as  
President of the Vienna Wireless Society.  He is active in ARES and  
public service operations, digital modes, QRP, and is an avid  
collector of vintage radios.

Note 1:  Alex Lee, who was previously scheduled to speak to us on the  
Woodrow Wilson Bridge Construction Project, had to cancel his  
presentation.


Other Activities
--------------------
Frank Haynes, W4NUA, will hold our 33-33-33 raffle. The grand prize  
is over $250.

Ray Johnson, W5RJ, will auction off radio- or computer-related items  
you bring in, so look around and bring in something you're not using  
and see how interested others are in acquiring it!
