Amazon.com says it was indeed published in 1987.  I think, however, there must have been an older edition.  I know the book I read appeared to be quite old.  Anyway, you can buy it from Amazon.

I have a cassette tape of Rev. / Dr. Brinkley from 1941 broadcast on XERA.  On one side he preaches a sermon.  On the other side he hawks his hospital in Del Rio, Texas.

He was famous for injecting ground up goat testicles into older men to restore their sexual vitality.

It is said the goats in the Del Rio area were very skittish.
