[QCWA] NTIA Compliance by Jan 2008

I haven't heard much if any discussion about the NTIA compliance
on Bandwidth of freqcys being narrowed down.  MARS freqcus are included
in this also.  Dont think any of us are going to buy all new ham
gear in order stay active.  I read even more diatribes about the
BPL system also is going into action per latest info from FCC.
Was told by local civil defense personnell that the heaviest affect
of all the NTIA compliance will be felt mostly on the VHF/UHF
fqcy areas, but HF bandwidth will apply on (non ham fqcys) as well.
