A simple question:  Since when is it either illegal or immoral to make ones 
living from Amateur Radio?  Those working for Alinco, Icom, Kenwood. Yaesu 
and even the almightily ARRL get PAID for working in the hobby.  Every one 
of then is taking your ham radio dollars so that they can have a home, a 
family, a nice car and all the good things in life.  And I suspect none of 
them would do it for free.

West sells ham radio education instead of transceivers.  Likewise, CQ and 
others sell magazines and Hy-Gain sells antennas.  Why are you all 
complaining about the former and not the latter?  There is absolutely no 
difference as business is business is business.
