[QCWA] Reflectors 101

Good Morning Everyone,

I've been seeing the following message more and more lately. 

     The QCWA at mailman.qth.net mailing list has 1 request(s) 
     waiting for your consideration.
     Cause: Too many recipients to the message

This is caused by having an email addressed to the reflector and 
to others, yes even a single additional addressee will trigger this 
message.  I have to login on to qth.net and Reject or Allow the 
message.

The reason most reflectors, including ours, do not allow multiple 
recipients is after being received, if someone who received it 
directly selects 'Reply All', a copy is sent to the reflector where 
it's again, 'waiting for your consideration'  because it's coming 
from a non-subscribed email.  There isn't anyway around this

Also, if you are subscribed using one of the many alias emails 
that are available ( mycall at amsat.org or mycall at arrl.net  ) you 
will not be able to send messages to the reflector with 
mycall at aol.com .  Messages to the reflector MUST come from 
the email id that is subscribed and you cant send from an alias.

For those that already knew this, I apologize for the bandwidth.  
For those that didn't know, or just forgot, please try to remember 
but, don't worry about it.  This is a hobby and a hobby is suppose 
to be fun!
