It is always great to see such activities succeeding.
I would like to remind everyone that in a few weeks there will be many new /
younger ops on the air in the School Club Roundup (Monday - Friday, February
14-18). They represent some of the future of ham radio too. Please look for
them and make some contacts. If you have the resources, try bringing a demo
station to a school or youth group near you. I know this can be difficult,
but some leads to gain entry that have been used in the past have been
contacts with teachers and other staff; parents have worked with their
child's school. Perhaps your local chapter or club could sponsor a station
at a school for the week or even a day.
