[Qcwa] Excerpts of the Fall Journal, on the web

We, the Board of Directors, found out this morning the Gerry Wentz, KC4EHT 
became a Silent Key this past Wednesday.  He had been in the hospital since 
last Friday.  After the last hurricane Chuck, K1IGD, obviously didn't have 
any luck contacting him.  Gerry's daughter called Chuck this morning in 
response to a message he had left on his recorder.

On Tuesday, Chuck did manage to get in touch with the printers.  They didn't 
sustain any damage but, power had  just been restored and they are way 
behind. We're not sure exactly how long it will be until they can get the 
Fall Journal printed.

We, John, Chuck and I, made an executive decision and have place select 
portions of the Fall Journal on the web.

All Chapter Reports, The Presidents Report, The General Manager's Report and 
the five ads are available for viewing at 
http://www.qcwa.org/journal/index.htm .  Please pass the url to all QCWA 
Members that have internet access.

The reports are as I received them with no proof reading applied.  The 
omissions and mistakes are the work of the original submitter.  If you 
submitted a fall chapter report, please proof it and get the corrections to 
me.  I don't need or want 15 e-mails for the same mistake.  I also didn't 
receive any pictures, forward these and I'll add them.

There isn't a link from the main QCWA site to this area or from this area to 
the main site.  This is a temporary measure.
