I am finally able to say that I have joined the QCWA after 40 years of amateur radio.  I received a call from Chuck this morning and he said I should have my member number, etc. in about 2 weeks.  A friend of mine, K0AMZ, Galen, also joined for a Lifetime Membership.  

So, that's 2 new members in Colorado Springs.
