[Qcwa] New Membership

Pleas Explain: I have been Licensed 34+ yrs. InOct I
received a application for membership in
QCWA.(unsolicitated) Thinking this might be fun I
Mailed the App. alomg with a ck. for $28.00. A few
days later I received a card from chapter 63. OKC. To
date I have yet to receive any thing from National. I
have a friend in Washington State. Who I talked in to
Joining at the same time I did. He received a package
with Membership Cert. News paper. bumper sticker and
several other items. I inquired in Dec of 03.
Receiving no response. Sent 2nd request for info.
onmar,28,04. Received a answer from Jim Walsh, stating
that a packet had been sent on Nov 6th, 03. PERIOD. I
can only assume that this is common practice. That if
at first you don't receive any thing, then just forget
it.
