I was in the USAF from '68-'72.  My first assignment was a two year tour
at Barksdale AFB, Louisiana  where I was an op for the SAC Alfa and
Bravo nets.  The Alfa net used Collins 204J-1's at 45 KW PEP and
rhombics, inverted discones and rotatable LP's. My next tour was at Tan
Son Nhut AB near Saigon with the 834th Air Division tracking in-country
C-7, C-123 and C-130 sorties using KWM-2A's and 30S-1's.
